In the Winter
of 1994 Dawn LaRue launched her Solo Project
NEAR DEATH
EXPERIENCE
and started
recording at Chicago Trax in Chicago.
Dawn hired
Engineer Co Producer Chuck Kawal, Manager Rick Friedman
(RIP 2011 ) and Assitant Manager, Polygrams Dora Moore to
guide her.
Dawn was
now able to fulfill her dream of her first Solo 9 song CD
yet first, now newly signed to her Management Team and now
guided by the new direction advise of Emmy Award Winner
Rick Friedman and Grammy Award Producer Walter Kahn, she
was advised to do a cover song remake to introduce her music
and image to a new fresh top 40 public radio audience.
Dawn's first
solo single song release was "SOMEBODY
TO LOVE" a remake remix by the orginal Jefferson
Airplane song sung by Grace Slick and composed by Darby
Slick 1967 IRVING MUSIC BMI. Licensed by The Harry Fox Agency
with permission, it was released by MS Distributors worldwide
and can now be found on AOL Music and more.
"SOMEBODY
TO LOVE" was recorded
at Chicago Trax in the winter of 1994 with Engineer Chuck
Kawal and Featured Dawn LaRue on all Vocals plus Guitars
with hired musicians Greg Fulton on Solo Guitar, Jason Laughner
on Bass and Vic Pedraza on Drums.
A Original
MTV Video was filmed in 1995 and went unreleased but now
emerges this 2013.
This Original
MTV Video was filmed in Chicago's Old Jewish Graceland Cemetery
on North Clark Street March of 1995 and was shipped to the
Hollywood UPN Paramount editing bay but somehow got lost
and then found in 2012 still coded with time code and many
damaged frames, the Dawn LaRue video was restored and all
awhile the whole time unreleased but now, emerges this 2013

"SOMEBODY
TO LOVE" single and dance remix was aired across
the USA and charted College Radio and Top 40 Rock stations
including WLS Chicago.
Dawn has
been a Multi Instrumentalist, Singer and Composer since
the tender young age of 4. Some say a musical Prodigy.
This was
her first time in her music career she was given the freedom
to Produce, Compose, Sing. perform on her guitars, bass,
piano and percusions all by herself.
Dawn financed
the projects "SOMEBODY TO LOVE"
and "CARVED IN STONE"
while working at composing her newly contracted FOX and
UPN music contract work packages.

In the Summer
of 1995 Dawn was given a distribution deal through MS
Distributorsthat placed her CD's nation
wide east coast to west coast and worldwide in Virgin Tower,
Blockbuster and more. You could find her NDE
CDs next to Alanis Morissette
and Nirvana.
Dawn then
packed her Guitars, left Chicago and headed for Hollywood.
Dawn also
had her CD for sale in the now closed SUNSET
TOWER RECORDS and her band name
NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE often highlighted the billboard
and, she was also painted on the wall facing Sunset Blvd,
as well as painted above the bar of the Coconut
Teazer.

her Rock Career, Dawn LaRue was
hired as a Independent Contractor by UPN KCOP Channel 13
to Compose MISSION NEWS TITLE MUSIC THEMES and Commercial
Promos from 1994 til 2000. Dawn also
Produced Special News Segments alongside a Emmy Award Winning
team including Christina Penza, Wendy Walsh, Dan Hattel,
Adam Bradshaw, Tawny Little, Rick Friedman and more.

was hired on to compose for DISNEY, NASH BRIDGES, PLAYBOY,
CBS, TLC and many more
Dawn also
had the opportunity to meet and socialize with her longtime
childhood Idols Elton John, Cher, Alice Cooper, Stevie Nicks,
Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne just to name a few industry friends.
Dawn's fabulous
Stage Costumes she wore and bought for her hired NDE band
members, dancers and crew were all designed by Terri
King Designer to the Stars.

hired musicians for her LIVE Concert shows of
which who are not named due to contractional releases.
